The second time at the con was a lot less intimidating than the first time I went back in 2009. I had a fabulous time, and I wish I could hop in a TARDIS and go back to last week or go forward to next year.

I discovered Matthew Brown's work via the CJA finalists list yesterday, and I've been so impressed with his work. Anyway, I'm tagging this here as a vid rec, but it's not quite like any vid I've ever seen. It is a transformative work in that it uses existing music and audio but the footage is original. You don't need to know any of the sources to understand this vid, though it might help if you've at least heard of Bonnie and Clyde. The effects and the musicality, especially with the "rat-tat-tat" of the guns, work really well together in one of the most original vids I've seen.
